Certificate Cohorts

For those organizations having groups wanting to complete the AHTC as a cohort, this option is possible. A cohort is a group of people who take all the same courses for the entire AHTC program. For cohorts, specific optional course can be requested. For instance, if a cohort from a church wanted to take the two required courses, WJST 435 (Human Trafficking Survivor Care) and WJST 442 (Faith Based Responses to Human Trafficking), this would be scheduled for the cohort even if these courses were not offered on the schedule.

For groups wanting the academic AHTC program, the minimum size for the cohort is six people. For groups wanting the professional AHTC program, the minimum size for a cohort is ten people. Depending on the size of the proposed cohort, additional cost savings may be available.

Please submit a normal, online interest form for the program through the Vanguard University web site (link) and mention you are interested in creating a cohort, and you will be contacted by an online admissions counselor.
