Thank you to all our donors for their generosity and faith in the Global Center for Women and Justice. Thanks to you, we raised $184,189 at Priceless 2020! However, it doesn’t stop there. As we all know, this year has been an unprecedented one in so many ways. We at GCWJ are ready and motivated to take on the new obstacles this year has introduced to the fight against human trafficking… but we can’t do it without you! Help us reach our year-end goal of $250,000 to combat human trafficking and exploitation.

ADVOCACY — In EP. 233 of the Ending Human Trafficking podcast, Dr. Sandie Morgan and Bella Hounakey, a fierce survivor advocate, discuss how the trauma that survivors face is often overlooked by law enforcement. They go into detail about the language that is used in court and how it has the opportunity to bring a survivor justice or to fail them. Hounakey also describes how a community has the ability to change the direction of a survivor’s life by coming around them and lifting them up.
