    Item description

Our interns love their time here!

Working as an intern for the Global Center influenced me not just to use my career, but my everyday decisions to positively impact those around me. GCWJ taught me that it takes only one person to start a positive chain reaction that can forever change relationships, communities, and the world. The Global Center also taught me the importance of partnerships and networking to share the wealth of knowledge and widen our positive impacts.
— Gabriella Hinojosa, Student Engagement Intern
Being a part of Live2free has changed my life. Through the knowledge and experience the club has given me, I have been able to share with over a thousand youth about human trafficking! I have also grown academically and professionally, preparing for my future as a social worker in the anti-trafficking field.
— Kaleigh Lawrence, President of Live2free
As an English and History & Political Science double major, I sought out a way I could make a difference and help others whose rights have been violated. At GCWJ, I was given an opportunity to expand my knowledge on human trafficking and local and global initiatives to fight this human injustice. GCWJ invested in my professional and educational development to pursue a career in social justice. It has been a joy working at GCWJ and seeing the interdisciplinary and diligent work being done to help vulnerable populations.
— Idalis Moscoso, Communications Intern
