Melanie has been an integral part of the Global Center for Women and Justice throughout all four years of her college experience, serving in multiple roles that have strengthened both her leadership and commitment to anti-trafficking work. From supporting program logistics to advancing student engagement initiatives, she has consistently demonstrated reliability, initiative, and a heart for service.

During her time at the university, Melanie served as President of Live2Free, where she led fellow students in awareness, prevention education, and campus engagement efforts focused on combating human trafficking. Her leadership helped foster a strong, informed student community dedicated to justice and survivor-centered advocacy.

Now a senior majoring in Criminal Justice, Melanie brings both academic insight and hands-on experience to her role as Administrative Assistant. She is passionate about supporting prevention efforts, strengthening organizational systems, and contributing to initiatives that advance safety, dignity, and justice for vulnerable populations.
